A fun and quirky memoir about "Zippy" - a young girl who grows up in a town of only 300 people in the 60's and 70's. I loved the voice in this book, as Haven described her irreverent childhood and the people in her life. It really was a glimpse into a very unique life, and it showed, that no matter how "boring" or "normal" our lives may be, we all have a story to tell. (Even if our stories don't involve having a chicken for a pet or a crazy lady that is out to get us.) Such a fun read. I give it 4 1/2 stars and a PG rating.
