A book based on a fairytale, about a girl who comes to live with an enchanted white bear. Her adventures through her into the dangerous path of trolls and other perils, and through it all she perseveres. I liked this book, the story was sweet and I especially liked how the point of view changed based on who was telling the story.
However, there were parts of the story that seemed to drag a little, and although the story was a romance, I was never actually pulled into the romance part of it. That said, Rose, the main character made up for this a little, since she was such a strong presence in the book. A great clean teenage girl read :).
I give it 3.5 stars and a PG rating.
