Nurture Shock by Po Bronson & Ashley Merryman

Loved this.  Thought provoking and sometimes fascinating new studies about children and what "really" works. :)  Shatters some long held assumptions and erases a lot of the "feel good" ideas that have permeated parenting books in the last 20 years.

While I don't parent by studies, I enjoyed this chuck-full-of-reseach yet very readable (interesting and enjoyable) book.
