A charming children's book about a toy china rabbit, named Edward Tulane. Edward, who does not understand love or loving his owner, gets a life-changing lesson when he is thrown into the sea by some mean boys. This sets him on a wild journey, that helps him open his heart and learn to love, as each owner he has along his journey teaches him something new about love and life. A wonderful message about love and loving, tucked inside a beautifully and simply written story. (I also loved the beautiful illustrations in each chapter, which really add to the magic of the book.) I give it 5 stars and a G rating.
Thanks Lisa, I look forward to reading this book this month.
