A beautifully written retelling of the Twelve Dancing Princesses, a story that I was not really familiar with until I read this book. I loved how the characters were strong and real, especially Rose, the oldest sister, and Galen, the soldier turned gardener. I also loved how the story flowed nicely, without it dragging and being too heavy. A wonderful read, and yet another great (and clean) young adult book. I give it 4 stars and a PG rating.

The 12 Dancing Princesses was my favorite fairy tale when I was little. I read it over and over and over! I actually had this idea about writing a book about it but I guess someone beat me too it. I am excited to read it!
