Animal Farm by George Orwell. Now, I'm sure we've all read this back in high school but hey why not remind ourselves how Orwell takes an animal farm story and shows us what socialism can lead to.
A 5 star book rated PG for the death of a few farm animals.

It was a 7th grade read in my school...which, looking back was such a waste. Us little 7th graders just didn't get the bigger picture.
Now-watching the world around us- it will unfortunately be more than applicable and VERY easy to understand. ;)
