Another awesome book by Gerald Lund. This one starts in the summer of 1973 just before the Yom Kippur war in Israel. Basically, without ruining the story for you there is a returned missionary/Vietnam war veteran named Brad, who isn't sure what to do now. He decides to go to Jerusalem and visit the Holy land for some possible inspiration. While there he meets Miri, an Israelite woman. She can't stand Brad, at least at first. It is a heart wrenching love story that also teaches you some historical facts that you may not know already. I would recommend this one to all and give it a huge 5 stars.
